Alisson Becker could reach a Premier League playing milestone when Liverpool travel to Leicester City on Sunday.

The goalkeeper is five minutes of game time away from bringing up a total of 20,000 minutes played in the league since joining the club in 2018.

He would become the 13th man to reach the figure in the Premier League era for the Reds, with the list already including four of his current teammates: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool have won each of their last four Premier League games against Leicester and have only failed to score in one of the past 15 (a 1-0 loss in December 2021).

Salah has been involved in 45 Premier League goals this season (27 goals, 18 assists) – a record for a 38-game campaign.

The Egyptian is now chasing the all-time record in the division of 47, recorded by Andrew Cole in 1993-94 and Alan Shearer in 1994-95 (both 34 goals, 13 assists).

Salah has eight goal involvements in 12 league appearances against Leicester (five goals, three assists). He provided a hat-trick of assists on his most recent visit to King Power Stadium.

Salah’s next left-footed goal will be his 200th for Liverpool in all competitions. He has scored nine with his head and 35 with his right foot to date.

He is now two assists short of equalling the Premier League record for most assists in a season. He has 18, with only Thierry Henry (2002-03) and Kevin De Bruyne (2019-20) – both with 20 – and Mesut Ozil (19 in 2015-16) having more in a single campaign.

The last eight top-flight meetings between the clubs at Leicester’s home have seen four victories apiece, with the Foxes winning two of the last three.

Leicester are looking to avoid becoming the first side in top-flight history to go nine consecutive home games without scoring a goal.

Diogo Jota has netted six goals in his last six Premier League starts versus Leicester – against no side has he scored more in the competition (also six past Arsenal).

After totalling seven goals in his first eight league appearances against Liverpool, Jamie Vardy has since scored just once in his last eight in meetings with the Reds.

Vardy is the joint-top scorer in this fixture in all competitions with 10 goals, equal to the tally of another Leicester player, Ernie Hine, set between 1927 and 1932.

The Reds could register their 50th league victory over Leicester in this game.

Arne Slot’s men have scored in every away league match of this campaign. Never in their history have Liverpool scored in every away fixture of a league season.

Luis Diaz could score in a third successive Premier League game for the first time in his career.

The Reds won all four of their previous Premier League matches played on April 20, the last being a 4-0 victory over Everton at Anfield in 2016.
